The property extension is of 7 hectares all cultivated on vineyard, located at an average altitude of 730 meters in the sunny hills of Ovada. Thanks to the special composition of the calcareous soil and to the particular microclimate the valley enjoys an excellent position for the wine production. The Bondi family has bought the Cascina Banaia in the 2000, aware of the terroir's potentiality. They have staked everything on quality and they have believed in the autochthonous vineyards, as Dolcetto and Barbera. The cellar is equipped with avant-garde technologies and machineries in order to keep perfect control on making processes of the grapes and wine, observing the tradition. |
